Family Fundraiser in the Upper West Side

This past Saturday, December 2nd, I was honored as my family held a fundraiser for me at their home in New York City. We were joined by New York City councilwoman (District 6), Helen Rosenthal, as well as Pennsylvania State Senator, Art Haywood. We were also joined by members of Indivisible Mid Montco, of which I started with my husband earlier this year, as well as a member of Indivisible Upper West Side. The power of grassroots groups cannot be understated and their affect on getting people out to vote was apparent in 2017 and they are carrying that momentum into 2018. Out of district support is invaluable, especially in heavily blue areas where Democrats are relatively safe.
